Raz posted it somewhere. Also had a link on the Facebook dragon vii page. IIRC in short it's Thursday group dinner and Saturday group pic plus raffle (evening events). Also as mentioned above group rides every morning at 10 pretty sure that's kick stands up so be there/ready around 9. They usually break up in several groups going different places so get there/ready early so you can choose what's best for you.
Also don't recall seeing this posted yet this year so..........
RIDE YOUR OWN RIDE
Everyone will wait and doesn't have a problem waiting if your not a fast. Ride your own pace and in your comfort zone/ability.
Anyone new to the Dragon. Please ride at your own pace. All group rides will have a sweeper you won't be left behind. When riding on the dragon if you do get ran down use a pull off there are tons of them but only use the ones on your side of the road.
Stay in your lane!!!!!! This is not a close course the double yellow is very important. Many of the cages may cross in your lane be prepared.
Our to biggest things are Dinner Ride leaves about 4 it is the only time we ride parade still through the dragon. aka riding group pictures.
than Saturday night is raffle night we try to do a group picture before the raffle while it is still light so 5/6 ish
Group rides be in at 9 am at deals Gap kickstands up at 10 am
Bring CASH FOR THE RAFFLE!!!!!
Tickets will be $5/ticket and I think were going to have around 10-15 separate items.
Possible max of 10 tickets per person.
Likely a 50/50 drawing
also going to have some type of free ticket for door prizes.
I made it through The Dragon for first time today. Even after riding for 30 years, I felt like such a noob. I must've done ok. None of my parts made it on the Tree of Shame.
There's no cell service, and I didn't find any wifi where these guys are. So I'll post a few pictures I took. No doubt others will post some later.
There were Buells all the way to the end of the building.
I hope anyone else contemplating the trip makes it.
My first time joining the Buell crowd at the Dragon. Had a great time! Just wish I could've stayed through 'till Sunday. Great to meet everybody and I look forward to the next one! If anyone is ever down this way around Knoxville or the Dragon, hit me up!
Had an awesome time. Got two solid days of riding in before I broke my foot like a noob. Going to an orthopedic surgeon on Wednesday to find out the extent of the damage.
