[mad] WHY! I know it happens, but what a bummer. So here is what happened. I'm on my way to the store while I was driving I decided to pop a wheelie or two. as I pull into the parking lot I heard a scraping rubber sound. I look into what the noise was I noticed that I had some rubber teeth missing on my belt. I guess I stripped them clean off. so I turned around and hobbled it back home. I ordered the part from buellparts.net and now I'm waiting for it to come. Has anyone ever replace their belt before? And is it hard? Or should I take it to the dealer to have the put it on? Thanks for your help.

It's fairly easy if you're comfortable with a wrench and a jack.Download the manual found elsewhere in this great forum.:p

I thought maybe it was a 03. I was going to tell u to change Ur pulleys. But a belt swap is pretty easy. Good luck!

My bike has 61,xxx miles on it. And I have no idea how long that belts been on my bike. I'm just glad it went out on me near the house and not out on the highway.
