Drive Belt Questions

Hey everyone,

Rosie's (my 2006 XB12R) belt broke on the way to work today. I dont have a service manual for her and was wondering if it was the 1 1/8" 128T belt and what year and model Sportster also used the same belt. Also if you have any suggestions for getting the belt asap feel free to share them.

Correct if i am wrong, but sportster belts wont fit XB. New one from your local dealer or ASB?

up to 04 sportster belts I believe. asb would probably be the fastest but there are other companies with different compounds

128 tooth 14mm pitch 1 1/8th fyi, this size makes most companies not offer a guarantee

what is teh tooth count on an STT belt? are the other specs the same?

uly or ss is 135 tooth and wider I think
and 1125 is 145 tooth

Perfect. HD actually had one. It was ONLY $194. Oh well. Now to acquire another axle tool. I used two (40mm?)nuts locked together on a large threaded bolt. I think. I cant find that damn key anywhere.

What size does the hex key need to be? I cant remember for the life of me. 22mm? 7/8ths?

How many miles did the belt have? I have 41,000 on my 07 bolt, and it still looks good.
