hey guys,

i was riding home today. just loaded the race map on my bike with the home made exhaust i put on last night. i data logged and changed the number except for leaning it out (had some pretty sever drops, so i figured for the first session i would leave them back to the original number for now)

i was beating on it on my way home from work, if i hammered the throttle around 3000 rpm the engine revved up like normal, but the bike didnt take off. than it felt like it caught and took off likea rocket after that. could it be my map tuning? or possibly a slipping clutch? or worst case for me, the muffler is killing power in that range

If the motor is revving up like normal and their is no power being delivered to the wheels, through your drive-train, I'd have to think it was a fault in your drive-train somewhere...

Did you pop open your inspection cover to take a look? You mess with the routing of the clutch cable or something when you swapped exhausts?

how long has your clutch cable been on your bike? have you ever oiled it?

is hard to imagine that the clutch itself starts slipping that bad without gradually getting there.
could be that one of the wires on the clutch cable snapped and is hooking itself in the harness.
