The purchase of my 2010 Firebolt has prompted the sale of one of my 3 precious Ducs. The one I will part with is the one with the least engine, the 748. Don't be put off by the "small" 748cc engine. The bike flys. Just wick it up and watch the speedo soar to 80 mph in a few seconds. All 4 valve Ducs behave this way. Experts only, as they say.

Yellow, 8K miles, recent full service and new tires.

This is a rare monoposto 748 with Termis and runs like a champ. I will be asking $7,000.00 due to its' exceptional condition. It has never been outdoors except when it was being ridden. (seriously)

Well, if you catch it soon enough there will be an edit button over by the red [up][down] on the most recent post.

If that's not there then you have to ask a mod to delete it.

1998 Yellow Duc
Was in a crate until 2004 by a collector, along with 3 others

It is an undisclosed model, which means Ducati brought race bikes and special models into the country without listing them as inventory. It is not "grey market", is totally street legal, but simply not in the database at DMV. It is also not listed as a production bike in the famous NADA book, dealers will tell you that there never ever was a monoposto 748, all are two seater bikes.

Back in 1998, the typical 748 had different graphics and the 996 had the minimal graphics. My 1998 748 has identical graphics to the 996, minimal and on the tail section it says "Ducati 748" in place of "Ducati 996".

What does this all mean? Absolutely nothing. But the collector thought it would, then finally sold the bikes as perfect examples of something very esoteric. No one cares, but one thing for sure, the bike looks like it just rolled out of the crate and is stunning. I will post a picture, today I'm busy and can't do it.....I am taking a three hour ride to go and pick up my baby.....2010 Yellow 'Bolt!!!

My Ducati is perfect, but hard to sell. I would be willing to swap it for a very special Buell because I have two other Ducs with bigger engines. The 748 does fine, though, and surely pleases...twist the throttle and it hauls you up to 70 mph real quick....but so does the Buell!!! It's all what you like....lol
