I have read so much on these but still cant make a decision. Is anyone running them on here in there buell? any issue? Problems? dislikes and likes? thanks guys!

Cant speak for a bike. But I used to run a similar product on my 04 Cobra. (I went through 3 sets of hoops in under 10k miles) They worked amazing! A little vibration at lower speeds 25mph and under and after that they were like a charm smooth as silk

I put Dyna Beads in my Roadsmarts. I have put almost 10,000 miles on the setup and have never noticed unusual vibrations of any kind. I recommend them to anyone, especially those mounting their own tires. I do not plan on going back to static balancing.

A friend said the Dynabeads stuck in his valve stem and cause his tire to go flat. I've heard others say thay are no good for high speeds (track days). It is easy to balance your tire with a static balancer.

I just finished up my 2nd riding season with the Dyna Beads in my tires and have zero complaints! No vibrations at any speeds that I've been up to (up to around 115-120 or so). It seems like those who haven't tried it are usually skeptical (as I was) and those that have tried it love it.

Thats the first time I ever heard of them getting stuck in the valve. I wonder if he tried installing them without removing the valve core?

I run dynabeads in my bikes... amazingly smooth ride at all speeds! They(innovative balancing)do make special valve cores w/a little filter on the tip so they have no chance of ever getting stuck in the stem, but I, personally, have never had any such issue. So happy to get rid of those UGLY stick-on weights...

How do you install them? I assume you pour them thru the valve on deflated tire and re-inflate it after you're done?

I have run dyna beads since I bought my buell in 08 and had to put new tires on. Have since put 2 more sets of tires on and am still running them. I have had absolutely no problems and I ride hard and fast all the time.

I don't recommend this but I painted my rims 2 seasons ago and forgot to balance em after.... I had the best intentions of goin to my buddies shop and balance after and it took me about a month of riding to look down one day and realize I never did it. Ive Prob. Put on 7-8 thousand miles with "unbalanced" wheels now with no unusual vibration so I figure I might as well try dynabeads now. I've been skeptical yet courious about em for a while now but hopefully I don't notice any change.

I'm a Mech. at a tire shop and I'll never forget the 1st time one of the kids went to change a tire and calls me over. Asking "whats in this tire?". Anyways I've seen dynabeads used more and more in passenger car tires and every customer that has em swears by em.

I ran them for a full tire wear front and back. Yes I had a slight vibration between 25-50. I have gone back to standard wheel weights and have zero issues now. I will never use Dyna beads again, or recommend them to anyone.

Dyna beads are great for both performance and cosmetic appeal. No ugly ass weight on the rim. [up]

Whether, it's the Ride on products OR the Dyna Beads they do both Work. I've used the Dyna Beads in the past but once I tried the Ride on tyre products Man I was impressed! No more lead weights. Not to mention Motorcycle tyres should be Reblanced about every 1,700 to 2,000miles so thats a plus in my book. I Hate flats anyways Especially on a motorcycle!Good Luck ! *Jimi [cool]

I run them, no vibrations. Everything is super smooth.

They were smoother than my last tires w/ static wheel weights, but other variables changed too. Different tire, new vs unevenly worn.

I'm doing them again next time. So easy to use, with no downsides that I know of.

maybe you had to much moisture in the tire

Moisture is not good with dyna beads, agreed... I always wipe out the inside of the tire with 409 or similar to get rid of any mold release, then warm tire by a heat source to at least 100+ degrees(you will be amazed at how flexible the tire becomes).. I then wipe a bit of talcum powder inside before mounting on the rim, which I do by hand(no tools)with the help of 6 harbor freight straps and 3 heavy duty garbage bags draped over the bare rim to allow lots of slip while gently rolling the beads over the lip. This method is the safest way to never chip or scuff our translucent and/or powdercoated rims, and to allow the beads to rotate freely within the carcass and do their thing.

It may be beneficial to air a tire up and release pressure a few times on a hot day to evacuate any trapped moisture on a pre-mounted tire... also, make sure there is no moisture in the air source you are using...
