I am wondering if here is any reason an '09 PC5 won't work on an '08. Dynojet says they have no data & EBR doesn't return tech line calls...and Half-Dead dealerships have no idea what I'm asking..."it's watercooled?" is the most intellectual comment they seem able to muster! I know there are some super gurus on here...help a brother out, please!

Most just trash it and tune the stock ECM or buy direct from
EBR. Send EBR an email. They will respond back. They did when i contacted them.

Thanks GA...I'll try the E-mail thing. I hate to think we're not important anymore! I'll look at the EBR ECU. Still, I wonder if the '08 & '09 are the same electrically.

ebr only lists one ecm for 08&09 1125 compared to 3 different ones for the xb depending on year so i would say they are the same.

I just would love to have a definitive answer. PC5 & Auto tuner are right at $700, EBR Tunable ECM is $750. I just don't want to buy the wrong thing...either to technical or just a waste of $$$, ya know.

What mods have you done, ie; stock exhaust, ecm, air box/filter, maybe an aftermarket exhaust? EBR has a plug in pre-programmed ecm for several aftermarket exhaust systems, power gains vary by mfg.

I don't know all of the numbers, but I think D&D made about 130, fmf & jardine are about 135, drummer is about 138 (saw that in person, got it on video), barker is 139 (got that from Tim directly) and mine made 143 on EBR's dyno with their tune.

Custom exhaust, K&N filter, de-noided, that's the full compliment of performance mods thus far. As a side bar, I got the D & D since it was the only one on the market in Sept of '08...hated how obnoxiously loud it was, so I built my own that is similar in design to the drummer or another multi-chamber based on a flowmaster design. You can hear it on YouTube under "Tankenstien Exhaust" if anyone is interested.

I can take a few of the prototype (it's rough though) and the y-pipeand post 'em if you want. It'll be a few days...gotta dig them out of storage.
