early Spring PNW

All, there was a lot of talk of end of January travelling. Currently on the Oly peninisula there is 4 inches of snow, rapidly melting and rain from here to Eureka. Brief translation--not going anywhere for a few weeks.

Getting some new skins on the XR soon and still motivated to head south for a week or two.

Any thoughts?

Hey Opto! Yeah my friends in Seattle are sending me all these crazy photos of the snowpocalypse you're having.

Not to rub it in, but it was 60F and sunny along the SF coast yesterday. So please do come on down and let's hang out at the Whale City Diner.

Yeah, sure, not rubbing it in at all.....
Any one have a good choice for warm waterproof riding gloves that are not too bulky--no handle grip heaters on the XR.

I just got to Seattle today and although it's not terribly cold (mid-40's) the snow on the ground is still pretty slick. Glad I'm in a rental

BTW when they ask about upselling the insurance on an Escalade, they don't like the answer "HELL YES I DO!" with a gleam in your eye:eagerness:
