Uh I didn't see anywhere in that article that says he is building them. Much less designing. He designs motorcycle FRAMES he has never deisgned or built any motors.
What? Do you think the XB motor is an off the shelf Sportster mill? Pistons, valves, intake and exhaust are Buell specific and designed. And how about the VRod? That was Erik. And do you think the Rotax is parts bin? No Erik helped design that one too.
 
whatever he builds it won't be like the blast, there was actually a reason for killing it the first time lol
 
The reason he scrapped the blast is because it wasn't a true buell! You really think one f his first new bikes out would be a 250?!? Hell
No, maybe his 10th bike once he has fully established what ebr is all about.
 
*IF* a new bike is a 250, it would likely (hoping) be a race oriented bike (moto gp 3 style) Afterall Erik is a racer. Rotax does make a nasty 250cc twin that's used in cart racing
