EBR Coffee

Ok I had to post because I have had a thirty year stint buying and drinking exotic coffes from around the world. This is straight to Erik or anyone listening. The two best coffees in the world are Monsooned Malabar and Old Government Java. Both are seasoned in warehouses so that the humidity and dampness of the monsoons effect the unroasted beans to make them swell and mellow. The process reproduces the journey these beans would have made if they were shipped around "the horn" by boat in olden times. Old Government Java is only available to three or four Hotels in London except for small lots let out into the public markets. The brits apparently own the plantations that produce that bean. Its rare to get some. The Malabar is available through some boutique coffee roasters. Also through the Daily Grind in Albany, NY. They are the best coffees I have ever tasted, no bad habits, clean yet full flavored, excellent finnish and you want another cup. Extremely drinkable. They sell for around $13.00 to $16.00 per pound

I will buy some of Eriks to compare.

Wonder if they will start selling it in the keurig k-cups? Oh and is it a medium roast or dark, bold??

OK fellas, my 02.. I'm thinking EBR coffee is a super idea.. you know, a coupla of cups before a ride to enhance the senses and maintain a higher level of alertness:D... & a cup or two during a bike project to complete the task at hand with determined focus, and so on.. just a win win for all, with extra revenue being passed on to EBR & not some mega-market.. (I know where my next pound is coming from!)

Thump

I've seen the ads for the EBR coffee and all I can say "Oh my" hope he sells a ton but really? He sells bikes, music CD's and now coffee? Wow, what next frozen pizza's? I'll take my "cafe Du Monde" coffee and Chicory for $5.95 all day long thank you. But hey, if it subsidizes his bikes and he brings out a $12,000 consumer 1190, heck I'll buy his coffee too.

I guess it's time to put this on my XB

I made a comment on his facebook page about the coffee and he unfriended me! Must have struck a nerve. Hope I'll be able to sleep at night knowing I upset him.:D

Ha ha ha! Really? If he's in the coffee biz that's cool, but chose what you want to do. Coffee or Super Bikes!

I can't blame the guy for trying ti make a buck. Id love it if there was an average joe affordable 1190 but let's face it unless he gets some serious funding we wont see those any time soon.

My thoughts exactly... & that chrome cup hanger thinga-mabob screams HD ass-less chaps!... buellers rock "iced" double-shot mochas in hydra-packs, don't-cha know:D!...

Well, I'm on my second pot of EBR Java. Definatly feeling refreshed and awake after staying up late to watch the Packers squeez a win out over NYG. (I'm in italy, so the game started at 10:30pm...ended around 2am.) This mornings cup was better than lastnights...

If they had that cup holder in Carbonfiber i bet Erik would include it as an optional accessory for the 1190 carbon-edition .
