Does the ebr ecm come with the fan set to never turn on?

Well my fan won't run. I took the fan out cleaned the contacts off. Fan works. But it still won't run.

Anyone have a legible copy of the harness diagrams? The downloadable one from the site is too blurry to make out.

With my EBR ECM the fan shuts off when you slow down either below 15 or 10 MPH. Might give you the impression that it's not running.

It doesn't run when the bike is turned off either. My roommate has an 08, and mine is an 03. After riding he shuts his off and it runs for 5-10 mins after... should mine as well?

I installed a EBR ecm on my 2010 xb12 and the fan runs all the time till you are slower then 15mph same as stock.

I just installed an EBR ecm as well and noticed I dont hear the fan as much either! I dont know if it is because I dont hear it over the new exhaust. My bike is an 09 and the fan does not run when the bike is turned off either. Is that normal?

Hooked up a camera to point at the fan while riding... cant hear it run. And it is definitely not running at all.

figured it out... corrosion on the temp sensor plug.

With the ecm it wont run when you shut the bike off. Glad too hear you fixed problem.
