'09 XB12Ss w/ D&D exhaust. Just installed the EBR ECM and performed a TPS reset. Immediate and drastic improvement! Much smoother and constant idle, way better throttle response across the board, but especially at the low end. No more deceleration popping / backfiring. No more hesitation from stop. Improved fan programming, comes on more often for shorter bursts. All around, the best bang for the buck I've spent on the bike so far. If you are considering it, just do it. FYI, I wrote EBR and asked which one I needed for my exhaust, and they said the Jardine one works for D&D. Looks like they were right.

That's really good to hear...I did not have good luck with the standard EBR ECM and my d&d on my '09 Ss. That was before they had the different tunes for different set ups...

More good reviews of the EBR ECM. Good to know. I've got a drummer on the way, and the ECM will probably be right behind it.[up]

Finally got the EBR ECM for the Drummer. After the Drummer install, the bike had BAD decel popping. Plugged in the new ECM, TPS reset, let it idle for 10 minutes to let the IAC adjust, and it got dialed right in.... smooth power now and the popping is completely gone.

I've been bouncing back and forth between getting the EBR ECM or going the TunerPro route, but after hearing some of the hassles people have had, decided to get the ECM from the guys who really know what they are doing instead of hacking it. Besides that, it supports EBR, who as far as I can tell does a pretty good job supporting the riders.

im gonna pull the trigger and get one. mine pops like a mofo and hesitates sometimes from a stop.

just bought mine. $263 shipped. Now all i have to worry about is getting the damn battery out so i can remove the stock ECM. Anyone have any pointers? I heard its a bear.

I ended up using some needle nose vice grips on the strap just to get a good grip on the strap. Gave up quickly on the bare havd method..

what is the web site which i could order and ask what's suitable for my xb12s 2007 with a Micron exhaust, and does they shipes it to israel?
