That piece and a little time/material could save a bunch of money. Can't see how others can charge so much for so little.

either make your own out of some sheet metal, or get this one and affix your tags somewhere

thanks guys im waiting for the plate to come in UPS says tuesday. while i wait i have bent up some sheet metal to make one that looks a bit like the jardine.

something like this?

i just two 2 little black screws and screwed it into the plastic between those 2 knobs it is kind of hidden so i bent it down just a bit

I have been looking for a solution to the jutting out license plate holder on my '08 1125R...

Have seen an undertail kit from the UK online that sell for $110.00 and several home mods but nothing I could pull off on my own...

Does this EBR eliminator do the trick and how easy is it to install? Also, what would you do about lights and turn indicators?

i wish... i have a sketchy plate holder that the previous owner made, i want to make my own so i don't have to cut or bend my plates.

if you think your craftsman skills are to low for that check out this

the jardine is a plug and play no LP illumination but it can be done by cutting the tail light a bit. the forum above talks about that. im in cali right now so my eliminator is on hold

I bought the EBR piece. Found a one foot section of aluminum angle stock. Cut a piece of it to the size of my license plate. Drilled two holes to mount the plate, two holes where the top of the EBR cover mounts. Used two longer bolts to mount the angle stock piece to the bike. Removed the buddy peg mounts and made two small sections of the angle stock to mount the turn signals to the rear hole where the buddy peg mount was.

Very little time and money. Looks fine to me.

mine is in process i am using aircraft aluminum to basically cut and bend the diagram in the forum above. small differences.

Going to have to admit that my wrenching skills are in the needs improvement category but the Jardine kit looks simple enough and should do the job...

Thanks for the direction here... [up]

Just finished up with the install of the Jardine undertail kit...bought it through St. Paul (MN) HD...was $72 delivered...good directions and easy enough to figure out for a non-wrencher...

Thanks Popeye for the recommendation...
