Best of luck to him... unfortunately I don't see anything there that interests me. It's all race-only gear, none intended for street use or for Lightning models...[down]

The cool thing about EBR is that all of the stuff you needed a race lisence for with Buell you don't with EBR. Like the programable ECM, the Full race exahust for the 1125, the slipper clutch for the xb and any other raceing engine componant old Buell used to sell for racing.

1190RR has 185HP at the rear wheel & 93 ft lb torque , oh damn that has got to so much fun to ride .. we need EBR to make a limited edition street legal verison for us true BUELLERS. or at least provide the engine & tranny avialable. this is my hope for the future .. and this is the perfect payback to HD to show them Buell ,EBR, Erik will continue to dominate over them (& dont need them either to continue Erik's 200yr plan) and on the race track , and also continue to bring the world better bikes that are still in DEMAND. and other bikes fear and/or respect on the track & street.

Did anyone notice the 1190 has slightly different fairings?

To me it looks like street version "exotics" may be in the long term plan, all of which will be rotax based of corse...
As far as the XB series, I love mine, but if it has to die in the intrest of pursueing a higher performance machine so be it.

erik... expand your race parts to the firebolt & lightning models. You started with the race ecm for the xbr's, but i know you have more tricks up your sleeve for us. =]

but all in all, i'm glad to see you are back on your feet without dealing through H-D!

stopie we all want a street legal version in the future .. here is what someone asked him today on his facebook page & Erik Buell's answer about.....

Wow Mr. Buell. Wow....Those fairings going to be available anytime in the future? I have a track day tomorrow on the 1125R...can't wait!!!!!

Erik Buell said; Have fun at the track! Wish I was joining you. The fairing will not fit an 1125R without a number of other pretty significant changes, like radiators and exhaust. The current 1125R/1190RR radiators are really expensive as we are getting them hand made a few sets at a time. Of course they are cool as can be, and compared to the world of custom choppers, pricing is not bad. And you actually get performance... We would like to be looking to source something more cost effective for kits, but it will be quite a while before we can get to it....

my opinion on it is the more EBR wins and more the world see what great bikes & engineering & unique american inovations that comes from EBR and the bigger the EBR company gets & has the money in the future, the better the chance for us BUELLERS to see & get a street legal version of one of his race bikes just like in the beginning of the Buell motorcycle company, this time hopefully without having to go to some other company to back EBR up (like buell M C did with HD) to bring out some street bikes. even though i think & hope this will happen , i think the first street bikes from EBR will be on a very LIMITED EDITION only at first. just remember all of us that Eric has not and wont give up , as he has said "he is addicted to racing bikes"..
you need money to do that and selling street bikes maybe the next step to help that but there is alot R & D to put out street bikes on a larger amount . so it's gotta start out small. he knows true buellers still want more buells.

to add to that also it probably wont anything based off the 1125R / 1190RR chasis , it will have to be something of all brand design & new EBR &/or Erik Buell patents, maybe the engine & tranny, we might get, since it(the internals at least) is so very different from the original 1125r rotax.
