to meet the production demands of the 1190rs & inventory, until the end of the month of may

they are only making a hundred of them this year, weird how they would need to close for a month for that many.

That's a good thing, means they're getting the ball rolling on the high dollar production stuff that will HOPEFULLY lead to affordable bikes from EBR. [up]

its going to take a while to get affordable bikes from ebr im thinking. the new 1190rs is starting at 40,000 coins!!!! i know i cant afford that. i dont know of a production bike that costs that much. my buddy has 2010 bmw s1000rr and that was 18,000. im all for it dont get me wrong but it will take a while.

i think they could easily have a reasonably priced production bike in 5 years or less. all they gotta do is prove themselves with the 1190rs and get some investors and they are good to go. isn't cam-am already interested? if that goes through it could be even sooner.

In five years? Gawdamighty. That might as well be 20 years in sportbike terms. If they want to be limited production/high dollar/exotic like Bimota, then that's fine. Won't help (most of) us, but it might let them keep the doors open. But, it'll be kinda disappointing.
