ECM adjusting?

So as I'm reading, I'm seeing that there is a way to adjust the fuel mapping? I had a 07 700 raptor quad that I had a power commander III, with a holley laptop program where I could make maps and adjust them etc etc. What program is needed to make changes to the buell? I was wondering because I'm sure once I get my bike tomorrow there will be this problem. I'm not familiar with it, what are the basic things I should do as I'm sure nothing has been done and its bone stock.

craig: i assume from you stage name that it is an 08 Uly? if so, they self adjust somewhat on the fly and if is bone stock, you might be quite happy with the fueling. i would definitely add the right side factory scoop set-up if it is not on there. best $63 you can spend on a Uly. if you choose do mod the bike's intake and/or exhaust you'll probably have to use tuner pro or something similar. i am NO expert on the 2008 ecm systems, others on here much more knowledgeable. i believe they can be individually tuned but not in the same mapping fashion as the 2007 and earlier bikes.

Yes on the 08+ Buells the Stock ECM is different than previous years.ECM Controls Idle and other areas OR sensors so No Idle Screw is needed. You will need to Study up on the Newer Bikes. The TPS can be reset with the 08+ TPS reset KeyTurn Method and is here on the Forum for your use.
Check out the Xoptiinside .com Site and read up on the Newer Buells. Never Hook up the Older Version of ECM Spy to the Newer Buells 2008 through 2010. there is a newer Version for those Bikes.
You will need the Cable the Drivers and the xoptiinside Web Site should have Cable & info needed to get you started.
