ECM Fan Re-Flash

Can anyone provide more info about the ECM reflash to change the fan operation and reduce heat. I have read a few things about it on here and on other forums. I want to get it dine on my 07 XB12S, but the problem is the only two HD/Buell dealers in my area have no idea what I am talking about. Very frustrating. Can anyone please provide more info?

From what I understand that is 09 software that can be loaded into an 08 as a retro. I don't know if it will work on the 07. I have an 08 XB12s & I opted for a right side scoop & header wrap. This has made a huge improvement & kept me away from the dealer.
...you can wrap the front header down to where the pipes meet, and the rear about 2/3 of the way forward. Probably no performance change, but ride is cooler & it doesn't look half bad.
