I believe the maps can be copied and pasted into the maps but the eeprom can not. (I might be wrong though) I know there is different firmware for the newer ECMs and if you try to load the entire eeprom, you could damage your ECM.
I'm sure someone more knowledgeable then me will provide a more definite answer...
