ecm spy connection

i didnt notice where on my bike i would plug in the cable.. are there any pictures? maybe my '03 is too old?

Mine is right next to the ECM, which is under the seat next to the Battery. I ride an 06 XB12Ss though, it may be different on yours.

Its a little gray or black plug with a rubber plug in it. It should be splice out of your harness near your ecm.

Its a little gray or black plug with a rubber plug in it. It should be splice out of your harness near your ecm.

A little addition, you should find it on the right side of the rear of your battery, closest to the seat bolt that the seat clasps onto for it to lock shut.

All we're missing now is some pictures and this deal is sealed.

i looked it up in my manual last night and now that i've seen the picture i think i do remember seeing it. duh.

sorry for veering off subject a little, but would ecmspy be able to tell me my speed sensor is faulty?
