looking in ecmspy folder. I started in the megalog folder, datalog folder, then just checked all folders inside of ecmspy....no logs?

First make sure the use Megalog format is checked it the options tap drop down menu. Make sure your on the overview page in spy any other page it will stop the log. Start in ecmspy with the motor running and click on the green check. Ride- when finished the ride hit the red check in spy and close it out. Open My Computer
C drive (local disc), program files, ecmspy, Megalog folder. You will not find it opening up Megalog first you have to go threw the ecmspy folder. also make sure that your laptop is set to do nothing when computer is closed.

ok new problem.....i tried everything you had told me with no change. So i uninstalled ecm spy and reloaded it. Now i data log, go into ecmspy folder, and now there is no megalog folder to be found withing it.....WTF!?[confused]

Im such a noob :D

your using vista arent you?
they go in a wierd folder i will look and see in a second....
For Vista Users.
In Vista, you will need to look in your /Program Files/ ECMSPY folder at the top of the folder page you will see something called "Capatability Files".

If you click on it you will then see your log files in kennfeld. You will also notice that Vista puts those files in another directory called:
"user"/AppData/Local/VitualStore/ProgramFiles/ECMSPY.

Just a weird Vista deal.

Go to the Control Panel and choose Power Options and you will be able to choose the lid closing option you need. Look on the left menu pane.
