Ya'll probably know me by now, so here's my story first:
Right now I'm averaging around 80 or so miles a day on weekdays. Weekends about 150-200 or so depending on how much time I spend on the beach or at the bar. Mostly highway, but with a fair amount of sexy exit ramps and mountain roads thrown in. And alot of potholes, though i avoid them as best I can, it's just impossible in some places.
About to hit 10k on her, started with 3500 or so back in October. I wish I weren't on an Island sometimes, but then again you are never far from home. Even if you are working on a 400 mile day, which I can gladly say I have done a few 400+ days. I cant get off this damn bike.
Now the problem(s):
Only problems so far is IAT system is acting WIERD, It flops around from 78F down to -5F and now will sit around 3F-4F but for the most part 0F. I haven't gotten a meter yet to start reading things out but I'm pretty sure that it is the sensor in the intake gone bad, wither that or the plug. Rear brake switch went out on me a while back, I think i kept hitting it with my heel. No biggie.
Also, new development, COMM ERROR the faka. Tried to start it the other after I stopped to fill my camelbak after about a solid hour of riding and the moment I hit the wake up button it tries to turn over once and then the panel goes dead. this repeated for about 5 minutes until I told her to stop being dumb. Then today it happened again about a minute or two after start up, at around 120 degrees CT. Sometimes she like to putter out at round 110F while warming up in the morning, I think this has to do with the IAT shennanigans.
Probably need a new ECM, ya?
