Buellxb Forum

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

I cant get my bin to show up in the three boxes on the left of my tunerpro. I did it before. Octo helped me. i go to file and import and click on a bin, next i press the little button that brings up the three little windows but i can get the info in the boxes. HELPPPPP!!!!!!!!! Do I need to delete everything?

brightbuell could you be more specific? I'm having a tough time trying to follow your issue... because maybe i could help you out.

ok, before i was able to import my map from my ecmread to my tunerpro and see it in the s boxes on the left of tunerpro. Thats how i was able to make adjustments to my map. i am unable to get the map into the 3 boxes for some reason.

Ok if i'm understanding you correctly you lost your paramater tree window... go to "view" and click "show parameter tree". You could also try the hotkey "F6"

I cant seem to even get started, I am told its because I only have 7 starter on my netbook.

do the latest versions of software work with my os? if so Ill re-download everything.

Yes they do work with windows 7 starter. I have a dell mini 10 netbook with tunerpro and ecmread. They both work fine.

Do you have the correct .XDF file selected? Can you post a screen shot of it perchance?

Mine is now working fine. I also have a new dell mini 10 with windows 7 starter and its not your problem Delta one. There is a order you have to follow when down loading the files. You need mono, ecm read for mono and prolific 2303 driver installer, and tunerpro. I cant rmember all the details so maybe someone else can walk you through with more detal of the order to down load etc. I am now able to take a map for my 09 XB12R that Octopus gave me and make changes to the AFV MIN, and AFV MAX properties, which basically is my 02 sensor parameters. My bike went from massive popping and coughting on decel, plus hesitation and lag for 9 months to running great with rytmatic low growling at decell and bad ass throttle responce and healthy HP + Torque gaines. what I did was set both miy AFV min & max values to 100. In a sense it somewhat disabled my o2 sensor. Now i have had 30 people that its not a good thing to do. I have also heard from many who have also done it. My bike rocks now. Infact i had rode it for so long the way it was that now its like a completely diff bike. So I dont know if this is just a temp fix of this is my perminant fix but for now im stoked with my bike. I may continue to play with trying to tune my ECM so my AFV values are more flexable but It runs so great I dont want to sacrafise any aspect of the way it runs now just to be theroetically correct. I am open to trying any map for an 09 XB12R that someone has if its tuned great!!. But untill then im very happy.

ok that must have been my issue, I didn't realize that they needed to be downloaded in a particular order, I thought they just thought it was a running issue.

I downloaded and installed everything simultaneously from a disk I was given, I'll uninstall and start over.

BrightBuell, good to hear you got it working! Now i wish i could get a map for my 2010 XB12R. I am pretty quick getting the computer to connect and communicate with the bike but editing it is still confusing to me.

Delta, i would recommend you install the driver first, then mono, then ecmread and tunerpro. One method that i used to verify if the driver is working is to just install the driver, no apps, and then plug it into the bike. It should detect and if no windows errors pop up then that should be good to go. (I had some driver issues and this method helped me out)

I have an 09 xb12... I seem to have been reading some conflicting things...If I buy a usb plug am I still able to get all the FREE software that I need to remap the ECM? Im not sure how this forum works yet is there a way to get notifications if someone responds to a post?

I seem to be getting a similar error to bguinn when I try to burn my xpr to my '08 xb12s:

I only turned active muffler control off. I've re-installed ECMread and TunerPro so many times already! Also, I can't seem to find the ECMread download link on the ECMspy page anymore...?

Versions and files used:
TunerPro Build 5.00.8008.00
BUEOD.xdf V4 bin-definition(from ECMspy.com)
AMC off.xpr (output file from TunerPro)

Any help would be greatly appreciated! CEL has been on for too long!

Would anyone happen to have a 2009 xb12r map, for a spec ops exhaust with a k&n filter? or know where I can find one because I've been looking everywhere.

Also I have had my min and max aft values set to 100 but still get a whole lot of decel pop, Did that all go away for you once you reset the values to stock? and turned the closed loop mini rpm back to stock as well?
