ECMspy drivers

Okay...finally getting into ECMspy, but I am not sure I have the right drivers installed. I thought I knew a bit about computers, but I clearly do not after reading some of the installation guide from the cable I bought. Can someone point me in the right direction...in layman's terms. I am running Vista on a laptop.

I'm not sure how well it will work on vista though
