What is the most user friendly/easiest software to install and use?

ECMDroid, the one draw back to that, is you can't view the actual fuel and timing maps. You can use it for anything else though, to read and burn new maps to your bike, TPS reset, read and clear codes, datalog, active tests, change settings for fan, avf, O2.... Other draw back is, it's only for Android devices.

If you want to look at your fuel and timing maps, as well as everything ECMDroid can do, ECMSpy is the easiest, it's laid out a littler clearer than TunerPro.

TunerPro is great, once you learn how to use it, it is much more functionable than ECMSpy or ECMDroid, but definitly takes a bit of a learning curve. You need to know which tables you want to look at, unlike the nicely laid out ECMSpy.

All 3 are able to be used with my Bluetooth dongle. Or the PC softwares you can get a usb cable from xoptiinside.com

Hello, I bought an Emc spy cable disk about a year ago and just tried to use it, nogo. Has anything changed in the year or so since I got it? I had a techno research program to read/clear codes and reset TPS but it died and they wanted a monthly fee and huge initial price to get a new program. I just moved from CO(6000ft) to OK(767ft) and bike is not self adjusting too well(cold start mostly) and is popping way more than it did up there. Want to try to reset the TPS, and see if there are any stored codes. 07 XB12R. Bike totally screams down here it is fun and scary fast(perceptively) again. I always thought people were embellishing when they spoke of torque wheelies in 3rd gear. the bike is way different beast down here I love it. Bought it new in nov07 to replace my 03XB9R(also purchased new). I put a factory race ecm, K&N, and a drummer right after the 500 mile service. I really wish they still made the factory race kit that I put on my 9 right after it was broke in- but the drummer is a pretty good substitute. Thanks for any help.

Does the cable not work, or does the software not work?

The free version of ECMSpy is out there, since you have an 07, you can use that version. It's not publicly posted, but there are people who will give it to you, search and you can find it or someone to give it to you.

Or switch over to Bluetooth and use ECMDroid. Send me a message if you would like to purchase a Bluetooth dongle.

The "race maps" are hard to find for 08+ xoptiinside.com can set you up with a map for your specific muffler
