Hi all,

I have recently installed a new drummer exhaust for my 2007 XB9R. Over the weekend I attempted to flash the EBR Race fuel maps.

I used the race eeprom from this site: https://sites.google.com/site/ecmspy/xb9/2007 (2007XB9Race.txt)

I loaded up two instances of ECMSpy, loaded my stock EEPROM into one, the race EEPROM into the other. I highlighted the front and rear race fuel tables, pasted them into the corresponding locations on my stock fuel maps, then burnt in the new map. I did not touch anything in the timing tables.

The new map runs absolutely terrible, the bike won't rev past 4k in gear. I went back to stock. Stock also runs terrible now. I have a feeling something went very, very wrong while copying over the fuel tables, or while burning the new fuel maps, or even while saving my stock EEPROM before I got started.

Could someone take a look at these maps and tell me if this looks okay for a stock 2007 XB9R? I don't know enough to tell if this is f* up, but it sure does seem like it.

Did you save your stock EEPROM before flashing the ECM? You need to reflash the entire ECM with the stock EEPROM and start over. Don't copy/paste. Change the numbers by hand to ensure they are going in the correct cells.

Unbelievable.. I feel so dumb. I explicitly remember saving the stock eeprom, the screenshots I posted are from my 'stock.txt' eeprom file. I'm guessing I somehow screwed that up as well, or possibly overwrote it.

long sigh....

Would you recommend flashing the following tables?

These are from the stock EEPROM found here:

If these values do not look right either, then I am pretty much stuck with what I have unless someone can post a stock 2007 XB9R EEPROM file. Anyone happen to have one?

With the messed up ECM you have now, you should flash the ENTIRE EEPROM and not just the tables. If your ECM is from a 2007 XB9R then the 2007XB9Stock.txt should be good to use. You will also need to reset the TPS after you flash the EEPROM.

I just got done flashing the downloaded stock EEPROM back on, I cannot thank you enough. It worked flawlessly, I slammed through the entire RPM range and found no issues. Thanks again!
