hey guys new to this but this board has been a big help in the past. got a problem. just downloaded ecmspy and I cant get it to work. I have windows 7 on my pc. I have went through multiple pages of forums on many different sites to tr and figure this out. done step by step of everything and yet it still don't work. its saying timed out and port not found. went through the control panel saw the port that it is supposed to be picking up put it in the ecmspy and still no dice. I am needless to say frustrated. what am I doing wrong? can someone help me please!!!
thank you

So I figured out the past problem. Now I have an Evan bigger one. I completely messed up a tps reset. I'm getting reading for engine temp, inlet air temp, afv etc. but when I hit tps reset the throttle and % bar didn't move at all. I maxed the screw out both ways and it still didn't move. So like a tard, I tryed to start it now it won't turn over. What do I do from here?
Than you

What year bike? Break down your steps to doing a TPS reset. What do you mean it doesnt move? I assume on your screen you dont see a change. You must tell it to connect by the button top left. Then youll get live data. But im willing to bet youve missed something very key when resetting your TPS. Details are very helpful when explaining troubles via a forum

I followed the YouTube video what I thought was step by step. Than once I got the throttle to not respond after the blip I turned it the additional 2 times just like the video said. Went and hit the tps reset and when I started to turn the screw the % percentage didn't move at all and all the ecmspy continued to say was tps reset..... So I kept trying to get a response and nothing. Ended up maxim the screw out both ways. From there I unplugged it and tryed again still nothing. So I figured I would try and start it got nothin just a bunch of clicking which I assume is the stater, battery etc. somewhere along them lines. Now my throttle dosnt move at all.

Most of the time when you change anything you have to reconnect to ECMspy by pressing the little keys in top left corner.
