I am concerned about 2 things, running hot annd running rich. Can anyone tell me any usefull anout these readings?

What bike, what ecm, what mods.....

Afv of 104 isn't bad. It means it is adding 4% fuel

Your engine wasn't warmed up fully at the time of these pictures.
 
Its a 2005 xb12s. I don't know what ecm and no mode that I'm aware of. I am the second owner. As for the temp in the pic above it actually cooled down. I rode home from work, stuck in traffic with my right leg burning to the point I almost pulled over and got off. Once I got out of traffic and got some air it cooled off some. It was parked and off for about 5 minutes before the pic.
 
My concern about running rich comes from the smell of raw fuel for about 10 minutes after I stop. Horrible when parked in the garage. I sometimes wonder if the motor gets so hot, it heats the fuel in the tank......
