The only situation that would even be remotely acceptable is if you are disabled...

my left hand does have trouble with clutches at times because i broke it snowboarding a while back

There was a service bulletin late in the life of the Buell Co. about the Blast clutch engagement point. An HD Buell dealer should be able to locate that. The clutch basket comes out and a little spring goes in behind the plates. There is a cheap bit of parts and it eases and smooths the clutch engagement. It tamed my wife's bike for her, and I can now take off in low gear from wet grass without digging a hole.
