Are you guys still passing emissions test after you mod your bikes with different exhaust and ECM? Airbox delete and breather rerout? I don't what to try these things if it is going to make my bike usless to me.

I'm in Arizona, so I don't know if the emissions testing is strict/lax, but I've passed with my exhaust and ECM nonsense.

No emissions testing here in CA for bikes.

I have a feeling that we're getting motorcycle emissions testing in the near future. I think it'll start in the smog III counties like L.A. and San Diego as a test, then creep into all of our lives.

My brother has a Diesel F250 that smokes like a WWII destroyer and he's smog exempt.

The California Air Resources Board works in mysterious ways.

Good to hear that you passed in AZ. I live in San Diego but also keep a house in AZ and that's where my bike is registered. This May I have to smog her. I have a Hawk pipe and am doing fuel mapping soon so I was wondering about emissions. I still may just go back to stock map before test to be sure.

I would just register it in California but don't want to pay sales tax again. Knowing my luck I would do that and they would start emission testing in California the next year.

Emission tests = TAX GRAB!!! It's such ********. Here in Ontario Canada we have to have our cars tested every two years, thankfully our bikes are safe for now. Costs us $35 bucks every time, our cars pass everytime, for what? 80% of southern Ontario's emissions come from industry and coal fired hydro plants in the mid west states. NOTHING we do to our cars here is ever gonna change or help that. Wayne

Just pay off your government like our big business pays to our selectmen/congressmen
