EPA Considering Raising Ethanol Limit To 15%

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EPA Considering Raising Ethanol Limit To 15% .they want to raise it to 15% thats not good news for us. dont they know how much worse your milage gets with ethanol E10 think how bad it would get with E15. thought government wanted cars with better milages. plus it could do more harm to fuel systems and emissions control , and engines especially older vehicles and older bikes.

found this info here

The EPA has until Dec. 1 to make a decision and is requesting comments from the public.

You think its bad for cars and bikes, its even worse for boats! I've seen cases where ethenol blended fuels have destroyed fiberglass fuel tanks in ski boats, there's no telling what kind of damage can be done to all sorts of components as they raise the ethynol levels.

Ethanol was a good concept at the beginning but turned into something that should have stayed in the lab. Why can't they just let us have our good ole untainted oil...? Ethanol = Fail...

California had talked about getting rid of E-10 all together because they did studies that showed it was actually worse on the environment and since they can't ship it down a pipeline it has to be trucked everywhere which means more fuel consumption and pollution.
