So, are you getting one?

As cool and amazing as they probably will be, i’m going to stick to my petrol burning paint shaker.

It’s going to be very interesting to see where this goes, nonetheless.

Do you have to use the cloths-pin and baseball card "mod" on the spokes to make it sound like a motorcycle?

"It is my utmost pleasure to introduce you to my new company: VanguardSpark, an e-mobility company created to bring to market innovative, distinctive and great value-for-money urban electric two-wheelers."
VanguardSpark is the joint creation of 3 partners who bring complementary expertise and global experiences: Frederic Vasseur and his Formula-E official manufacturer company "Spark Racing Technologies", legendary motorcycle innovator Erik Buell and his engineering team, and myself, as Vanguard co-founder.

In the future it might be very quiet on race day. Maybe by the time I need one mobility chairs will have the characteristic Buell lines too :)

I rode the Victory electric bike a year or so ago and loved it. Once the cost comes down a bit or the range goes way up, I would seriously consider one. Sadly, here in the Phoenix area, all the decent riding is 75 to 100 miles away before it gets nice. So an electric bike doesn't work for me. I can also do 100-150 miles drives around town when going to various job sites, so again, not for me yet.

Sort of the same thing here in LA as well^^^. Today our choices are a sport bike that you truck to the track, or I'm sure thats why they are focusing on small commuters for the masses.

It sort of looks like the Lotus bike:angel:

An electric bike would be great if you had a fixed commute to an office. When Victory announced they were closing, I was tempted to get one of their electric bikes for the commute to my office. But I knew my days at there was numbered, so I held off. Now that I work from home and travel to job sites, it doesn't make sense for me anymore.

The Victory electric bike is the one they got when they bought Brammo. I thought I read the Polaris was going to continue development of that bike.

I got to ride it many years ago along with a couple of the Zero models. One of the most refined electric motorcycles I have ridden.

This could be huge for the helmet industry. First ones to come out with a built in bull horn where you could scream,"Whoooooooop, whoooooop, whoooooop" would kill it in sales. At least until the petrol generation dies out.

Great... So they will have "wooden" brakes that fade and battery technology from the 1950's just like our Buells... LOL (poke-poke):black_eyed:
