Wanted to try to get a thread started about Stations and How much Ethanol they "claim" to have in their pump gas.

In SW PA
Sunoco- Up to 10%
Citgo- Up to 10%

pretty much all gas stations are going to have up to 10%. There are a few stations around here that still have no ethanol.

also, our government is wanting to add even more ethanol to gas. that's not going to help anything and especially not our bikes. I mean putting more ethanol in the gas causes problems for some vehicles and lower gas mileage also leading to using MORE gas. dumb idea, just like e85....

e 85 and e95 are alright if you are wanting to run lots of boost in something because it has high detonation resistance BUT u have to run ALOT MORE FUEL and it makes vehicles not touned or designed for it run worse and less efficently personally i hate ethanol based fuel and would rather run unleaded or leaded race gas[mad]

I usually fill up at BP or Sheetz. Both are E10.. The only place that might not have Ethanol would be Kwik Fill. Their gas is refined in northern PA, www.urc.com
I have not gotten gas there in a long time so I don't know for sure if they switched to E10 yet. Their prices are always higher(not foreign) but I might give it a try if I get better mileage in my car. (If it's cost effective) I average 31mpg in my Saturn Ion with mixed highway/city driving.

My bike runs great on E10 gas so no complaints here.

If it gets worse, I might have to switch to 100LL from Air BP at the airport. I'm sure they wouldn't mind sparing a few gallons after my rental plane gets filled up ;-)
