People tell me I look like I am riding a little scooter when on my bike. I guess being 6 ft tall an riding a lightning low might look kinda funny.

I am 6ft. tall as well. When I bought my XB12R I was told basically the same thing by a colleague who rode a bussa. All I said in reply was "let me know how I look in the corners, princess".

I got that once... but when i got closer they took that comment back then they told me that i had awesome bike but a headlight is out...

I was told I look like the death sphere rider at a carnival with such a short wheel base. Then was told his sportster with the screaming eagle package was insanely fast. . .

Yeah I have gotten the headlight out question too. I get the scooter joke a lot more now being one of the few sailors on a marine base.

I had a buddy tell me he didn't realize how small the bike was until I got on it. I'm not a big guy (5'10", 190) so I can't imagine what some of you larger gentlemen look like on your bikes.

6'3" on a 12R. Get the too small comment all the time. Of course, my back sits against the passenger seat cover and my knees barely fit behind the pucks, so maybe it is a little small.
