hello everyone. i am completely new to buell... i recently came into a xb12 firebolt from a friend. it needs a new voltage regulator and some fork work, and a serious cleaning, but otherwise good to go.

quick question. is it possible to swap out the front fairing on the firebolt for the headlight/windscreen of a xb12s? thanks and sorry if this is the wrong place to even ask...

First off, welcome!

Definitely the wrong place. Ask the mods to move this post if you can't delete it. This should be posted in the tech section or start a new thread. This thread is for pictures only.

My friend and co-worker just picked this little gem up the other week.

The seat is not what I'd call comfy but everything on the bike is very solidly built. The sound of the intake pulses coming up from the front of the bike was godly. That sound sells Ducatis everyday.

This bike also has a wet clutch so you can actually enjoy the sweet sounds of combustion in peace. The sound of two drunks having a tamborine fight. That's the sound that comes out of a Ducati dry clutch normally, and in my opinion it gets in the way of the real aural beauty.

I think it's around 370lbs dry and 140Hp at the crank. Woof.

[Edit] It's an 848 EVO. I realize the picture is too compressed to read the graphics.

Sorry for the cell phone picture.
