Hey guys! So I have been reading up on gaskets! The last time I had my headers off I had a bit€h of a time trying to get the headers back in with the stock exhaust gasket. (Cone styeld). I found it nearly impossible trying to get the bolt on to the stud And im am not about to back the stud out!.!.!.
I recently found a thred on a thiner styeld gasket. #17048-98 hd screaming eagle gasket. was just wondering if anyone has used these gaskets and If they had any luck. Easy to install? Any leackage? From what I have read it seems that people are calling it the jardine gasket?. If you guys recommend something else please let me know..

Wowowowow so much easier to use then the stock exhaust gaskets. Fits like a charm. I took my time on tightening them up. And alternated well tightening just to be on safe side. No leaks so far!. Hope this helps some one out.

Nice work....I had the same issues with my Buell Blast. I wound up (for different reasons) going the long, hard route and replacing my exhaust studs with longer ones. At that point the cone style gasket worked fine. Nice to know about the SE gaskets...
