I know people have gone around taking the rear wheel and belt pulley off to get the exhaust clamps off. How is this done??? I just cant see how you get in there with anything to get them loosened.

Not sure what you mean, but I never took off either of those. My exhaust bracket mounted to the outside of the pully (Jardine RT-1). I had to disconect the oil line but that was pretty much it. Theres a little work involved with the vaulve in the exhaust but not to complicated.

You should probably describe what you mean a little clearer.

After reading your post again I think I know what you mean.

It's a bitch! The foot gear shifter side of the bike is the side you can wratchet from. I had my brother hold the other side, with an open end wrench, while I used the wrachet. It's tough but when you get it off it's be a lot eaiser to mount the new pipe.

You'll need someone to help if you go with Jardine. You'll need to take off the kickstand. Don't know about other pipes.

Hope that helps, get creative!

Thanks, i'm installing a Drummer. I just thought I remember reading about how guys have skipped the process of removing the rear wheel.

if i read this correct.....all you need to do is take off the front pulley cover, then get a long extension and loosen and remove the TBolt clamps. it took me 10 minutes, not including removing the fairing.

Unbolt the right side rear set. The rear master is attached but just move out of the way once unbolted. Put a 6 inch extention with a swivel on your ratchet and go through the holes in the front idler pulley. Easy peezy.

Haha well thats one way to do it I guess. It was really simple to take off and install, no problems at all.
