alright, im running out of ideas. even went through the fan to see if i can reach the top nut to get everything torqued. not sure if i can. Anyone have any suggestions or experience on how to torque that top nut without rotating engine down since i have the exhaust and everything hanging loose ready to get torque properly? thought about maybe fitting a swivel socket and extension somehow in there through the bottom or side, not sure, didnt look into it too much or try to figure something out. Took the o2 sensor off from through the fan to get a little more room. very much appreciated, very very anxious to get it together asap. (at least the other 3 are easy!!)

The way I did mine was removing the rear shock, fan assm, and 02 sensor. I tried to tighten it going behind the frame only have it get loose again. Take a lesson from me, go ahead and replace the exhaust header gaskets ($13), 02 sensor ($20 Bosch PN#12014), and be done with it. I first got my bike and the headers were loose. Tightened it up and drove it about a week before the frt exhaust gasket blew out. After replacing the gaskets, bike ran great for another week until the 02 sensor went out. Now I'm really good at removing the rear shock and fan (LoL). I had to use a crows foot 7/8's to remove the 02 sensor. Get that .99 cent pack of copper anti-seize 02 sensor safe.

no need for me to get all that stuff. i have brand new gaskets and all installed right now, i just took headers off to wrap them while i was waiting for my pipe to get back from spec ops. i put everything on and currently have everything hanging there loose so i can tighten it all up without messing stuff up. just wanted to get some ideas of how to torque it all up since everything is in place and can't rotate down anymore. ill look more(garage lighting was the best) im hoping i can get something to fit in there behind the fan, its a tight squeeze to get a torque wrench in there. where you able to get a torque wrench and socket in to the top rear nut from the back???

well i got everything bolted up, didnt run it or anything, finishing some other stuff, buuuut just out of curiousity (or cuz i worry about little shit too much), when i torqued the header up, all the nuts were torqued to 8/9 ft lbs, on all four, they are maybe flush or have 1, maybe 2 threads sticking out of the nut. Im wondering if this is ok, i figured there would be more stud exposed, but they are all even so i guess just looking for a reply to see if this is ok?!
