I recently bought a 1125cr and have been tossing around the idea of a aftermarket exhaust. i have been leaning towards the fmf apex but the jardine rt-5 is cheaper. The keda and ebr exhaust are just simply out of the question due to the extreme cost. So what is your opinion of the best exhaust for the 1125? Also is it required to get the EBR ecm specialized to the aftermarket exhaust? what are the positives and negatives of not getting the ecm?

I have an XB12 so I can't speak for the 1125 engine but I can say that I'm more than happy with my Hawk exhaust. I 'd check out his option for the 1125. My understanding is the exhaust note is deep enough that you feel it in your chest.

EBR ECM is not required. That is the route I went but Tuniversity can remap directly to a custom tune for your bike.

I also have a xb12 with a Keda muffler on it and its awesome:D. If you can I would recommend that you save up for it.

$550 is too high for an RT-3 slip-on pipe? The fmf and jardine are typically $450-500, right? Aside from the performance difference (6-8 hp more), mine are also hand built, not stamped out in a factory.

The EBR full kit is $1800, my full system is $1500.

I got an fmf apex for sale...and cheap. Pm me! I also have an ebr ecm for the pipe, but its for an r.
