While doing the Cylinder head temp sensor install on my XB12R, I looked and saw that the servo cable was disconnected from the top of the airbox. I have a Jardine slip on. I left the cover off and revved the engine a bit, the arm that would pull the cable didnt move. It got me to thinking, did the prior owner put the emulator on ? Where would I look for it? I don't get a check engine light so I assume it has one, but would like to see for sure. I did a search and didn't see anything describing how to install it or where it is. Thanks again guys!!

servo's in the exhaust normally, but he probably pulled the harness i'll check and see where for you.

you need to pull off the rear tail. I mounted mine under the right side next to the battery. it should be there. That is where you will find the connector at least.

I'm guessing that if there wasn't one installed, I would be getting a check engine code though, right? So is it safe to assume it is installed? I see what it looks like, so I guess I could tear my tail section off, but if it isn't necessary, I'd rather just go ride!!! Thanks guys!!

Your good to ride.[up]
As long as servo is electrically connected you will not get a check engine light. Since Jardine does not have the valve in the exaust exhaust end of that cable is not connected to anything either. No need for an emulater as the soleniod is working properly (there is no sensor for the valve itself).
