Loosing the exhaust valve and all the junk affiliated with it is no big deal unless you have a translucent airbox cover, then your left with a big ugly hole in your airbox to stare at every time you ride. Nothing a piece of 2mm aluminum plate, drem-all tool, buffing compound and a few hours wont fix.
