exhaust valve

probably a rather simple question but i couldn't seem to find an answer.
my bike has the exhaust valve removed and so the exhaust valve computer isn't really needed. can i get rid of it completely? i notice people that do the air box delete don't have it there anymore so i assume it can be removed but i wanted to make sure.

Yes you can just remove it. But it throws out a check engine code but it can be turned off with ecmspy.
