hey guys, im looking for a beat up xb9r/1125/anything i can make fit undertail to do some fabrication on. im looking to do a dual tail light conversion on my xb9r kinda like the SOC undertail kit just -$200 lol

im also looking into converting my XB9r nose fairing into an 1125

any info or leads would be appreciated, thanks

So I can't find any Buell undertails for under $50 and I'm a cheapass so I'm looking at modding a 2005 gsxr 6/750 or a 2007 ex650 undertail to fit. I can get either of them for $20 plus another $20 I'd spend on decent lights along with a little fab work I figure I can have me a halfway decent clean undertail for sub $50. As for now I'm holding off on the purchases 1.because I'm a cheapass 2.i need dimensions. It would be a hell of a lot easier to buy an undertail too big than too small lol

thanks! found one in pinwall's shop for just over $20. Now i need a tail light, preferably with integrated signals. initially i was going to go the dual tali light route but now im thinking of putting a light from the newer r6 models in.

But because of the angle of the XB9r's tail i would probably have to do a lift to make the light decently visible.

Thoughts anyone???

After looking at some of the tail lights I was considering I've decided that the curvature of the light assemblies would conflict with the bike.

I'm now looking into radiantz integratorz. I've seen them on a xbs but not an xbr? I'm thinking that instead of putting the led strip facing outward like on Blaylock1988's I would run them on the face of the undertail (which I would modify to be flat following the curvature of the tail) but then again I would run into the visability problem. Which would easily be solved with a tail raise. But subframe spacers run for $100+

Anyone know of somebody with home made xbr subframe spacers?[confused]
