I have a spare set of yellow plastics for my XB12s and didn't have much luck selling or trading them and am thinking about just painting them to give me another color option aside from red. I have the gold wheels with the red plastics and black frame currently. I was thinking of painting the plastics satin black. What other color suggestions might you guys have?

Gabe

If your going to keep the gold wheels, paint the yellow plastics Black, but put some type of gold color(same as the wheels) scallops or a line on the tank cover to tie them together, solid gold on the belly pan sides with the ceter piece black, and finally leave the windscreen black(or black with a small Gold buell logo)

Great suggestions! I hadn't thought about pearl white or copper but those might be interesting. I'm not so good with photoshop but maybe I can try to throw up some different color combos.

I'd like to try some subtle accents in whatever color I do but I'm not sure my skills are up to it haha. They're spares and I can always repaint so it's not a big deal I guess.

I love flat black. Ive seen cars w/truck bed liner.. I think thats what im gonna do to my truck. Its different, dosent scratch, dosent rust. I just wonder how heavy that stuff is?

i dont know about all truck bed liners, but i used to work at the local line-x shop where i live and i know i can tell you that is some pretty heavy stuff[down] but it would look good kind of like a mad max truck

Go flat black, it's the new black! Seriously, less is more. I'm not a man for gold but Dave's pic of the bolt is very cool.
