Decided to go with a higher mileage tire, couple long trips coming up and the old diablos flattened out on me.

I just went with pilot road 3s. I ride it like i stole it and still got 8k miles out of my last set of PR2s

Just from your title I knew what you were talkin about. I put mine on last summer and went with a 190 rear. Good so far... On the Wings of Angels.. Can't hurt.

red93stang- i will up date on the wear and feel! I paid 270 for the pair, had a gift card from the dealership and used that for the install. Really want to see what the difference will be from the diablos, in July when we hit the dragon for a week!

I've had 2 XBs with the Angels and really liked the grip in the twisties And the traction in the wet and they seem to have a long wear life to them. My last tire purchase in april 2011 of Michelin Pilot Power 2cts isn't going as well. Have 4200 miles on them and already have tread wear indicators almost flat. Didn't last as long as i'd hoped and will be switching to Angels on this bike real soon.

About 4-4.5k miles is all I get on the 2ct's. I am also about to make a switch to something longer lasting.
