Ok, a little back ground. I just bought this beauty off my brother. He bought it new in '99. The paint is factory. Just been riding for a few day so far. My right hand is nomb, I can't hear a thing, and I'm loving every mile.

It's a '99 x1. Has Vance and Hines exhaust. I just put on a fender eliminator. I'll put up some new pics now I know how. Been reading a lot of the posts to get some ideas for mods. I'm honored to be a Tuber. I would appreciate any advice.

Correction, he bought it from Harley of twin cities with the paint job. They did it.

Crazy paint... I am usually not a fan of flames but that looks nice. I like the tail painted to match.

yea i like the simplicity of the flames on this paint job vs some others that have tons of over lapping flames and layers, x1's are really fun bikes!!!!

I am thinking of switching out the stock shifter and brake levers. I have been looking at Banke Peformance, not sure on the price.
Do you have any suggestions?
