So I wanted to let you guys know that I ordered a set of bar risers from Al at americansportbike.com made for the 1125r. I would like to report that the bars will indeed work on the firebolt with some modifications. Really all that is needed is to cut off 3l4" off the ends and redrill the switch locator holes 3l4" closer to the triple tree. You will also need a lightning clutch cable. You. Can definately tell a difference especially in stop and go. Unfortunately I have run into some financial problems and had to sell my bike but before I did I replaced the stock bars and cable. The bars and cable have less than 700 miles on them. I am selling the bars and cable for $180.00 plus $10.00 shipping. If anyone would like some bar risers with most of the work already done for you let me know. I will try and post pictures of the bars mounted when I figure out what id wrong with my computer.
