Well i have been skimming posts for a while now and made a couple topics. any way i have a 2004 buell firebolt xb9r i have commuted on it, stunted it and now i'm racing it. i appreciated the handling for twisties alot but now for racing i freaking love it. i finished my first race in 5th out of 10 for the 750 class and it was against fairly experienced racers. on my hot laps (time trials) i caught up to (and passed) r1's , gsxr's and cbr's. i easily out maneuvered a zx14, he had acceleration but his cornering sucked. i cant believe how well these are made for tracks. and how little credit they get. i was thinking of racing my cbr next year but i'm gonna race my buell.

Is that a 12 motor in a 9 frame or just a 12 primary cover? That looks like a pretty nasty track. You've got some balls for sure. [up]

Nice intro and great to have you on the Board. Keep us in the loop on how the racing is going. Best of luck out on the track. [up]

well it is a basically stock 9 but not for long I've been talking to a race team in Germany on getting a super thumper 1350 short stroke made. i have no idea why i have that primary cover, i think it's ugly. the track is rediculous it's an old army airstrip outside of Tok AK; a good 327 miles from Anchorage (where i live). if you all want i can mix all my videos into a little montage for youtube or something.
