Here are a few picture of my Lightning, made some graphics for the frame and did some airbrush work to the chin fairing and airbox. I've also bead blasted the chrome handlebars so they don't look like they were stolen off an old Schwinn. I made some air deflectors from stainless to keep the heat off my legs. Check out my Big'un exhaust mod. My muffler mod is different than any I have seen, I removed the stock outlet and pipe that connects to the middle pipe. Then I made a loop to connect the two outer pipes so they no longer use the rear chamber. Then I put a 3 1/2" stainless with a inside curled edge outlet in the hole where the original outlet was, only longer and angled up and to the rear. So now it is louder with a nice tone as the rear chamber works like a collector chamber for the outer tube loop, and when the interactive valve opens it dumps the center tube to the collector chamber also. Sounds different than any I have heard with a "badass restrained on a leash" kind of sound, and when the interactive valve opens it deepens the tone.

That is sweet. Nice job on the air brushing. The pipe is nice to love the look of big outlets.

How did you secure those heat sheilds? Can you post a close up if you get a chance?

Thanks to all, zoom in on the shields if you can or I can try to get a closer shot. So far they are just stuck in place with a bit of rtv too see how they worked. Now that they have worked excellent, (almost no heat) I will mount them nicer when I pull the seat stays for paint.

I have to say that's really is nice! [up]

I always liked the clear plastics but thought it a bit too cheesy.
What you did with the ghost flames under the plastic is genius.
Took that bike to a whole 'nother level!
Very impressed.

I got a friend I'm gonna show this to.
He may just trade in his CF when he sees it...

Again,
Great job!!

That does look pretty sweet. I'm really liking the big Pegasus on both sides!

I did, that was kind of a quickie, I have been custom painting as a hobby for over 30 years. Right now I am doing a full "over the top" paint job on an '08 Hayabusa with 14 miles on it. Fun stuff for sure!

So the pegasus on the frame is air brushed? Man that is really great looking! Im over in Wenatchee, would you be willing and what would you charge to do that to my frame? Maybe in white or blue?
