Damn, I think I have to have a set of these! It breaks my heart even thinking of peeling off the ones I already have though.

Matt,

If you have any left let me know. I'm very interested! I posted my email in a previous email in this thread.

I'm 6'-1" so my legs are a bit long. But the stickers look great! I'd like to have them for MotoGP at Laguna Seca.

Thanks.

I'd like to see one all gasser lookin with a gold-leaf pegasus logo and candy colors, just for sh!#s and giggles.

Davexb, I know what you mean! The reflective's are pretty cool! Your others are going out today.

ADAMLEE, do you mean the reflectives? That was the only set I had, but I will need to order more material for more. Pretty spendy stuff so I will order some after the orders are put in. I can get it in other colors, but I can't imagine any other color than the black looking right, although the white would look good on a white bike. If you mean the regular vinyls, sure, I have more of those available. I overlooked your e-mail, I will contact you.

goatsxb9s, that could actually be done in vinyl as gold leaf is available as are translucents that would look like a Kandy red! A little spendy I would guess, but it would be cool for sure!

Matt

ok, all you experts that have already installed these; any tips or tricks to make sure i get them perfect the first time?

are they dry or wet applied?

thanks

lee

Well matt didn't send instructions?

Installed wet, let it dry, squeegee it out. I thik you help it dry with a hair dryer. I cant remember when though.

i haven't received them yet, i am sure he included instructions, i just want to be prepared.

thanks

http://www.industrialsign.com/Controltac_application.pdf

Here is a link that explains the installation of the reflective material, this is for controltac adhesive and it will say controltac on the paper side of the material if that is what it is. The controltac allows you to reposition if needed. Try the same method with regular adhesive and you will ruin it. That said, I would use a little wetting agent anyway to be safe. It just takes longer.

Matt

There is a paper with the decals explaining installation, but basically it is a spray bottle full of water with a little liquid dish soap.

ADAMLEE, forgot to answer you, sorry! You can pay pal me at my e-mail, [email protected].

Thanks, Matt

matt,

thanks, i may try it dry as the instructions you linked say, they do say to make sure the surface is completely dry...hmmmm

thanks for the info.

lee

Yeah, but their reasoning for keeping it dry is to speed production. If you wet it you need to keep it in place for a little while befor you pull the transferpaper from the faceing surface. Like I said, only with the controltac adhesive do you have the option of repositioning the vinyl. Either way the key is patience...

Taylon;

will do, i plan on putting them on tomorrow after it warms up a bit.

Matt,

ok, good to know, i want to do it the way that will allow me to get it as straight as possible, so will probably try wet.

thanks again

ok guys, have you been installing all as one decal, or doing it in two pieces, the head and wings separately?

thanks

I would do as one piece to keep the orientation and spacing correct, but if you decide to split it be sure to give yourself some reference marks to adjust to.

i installed them, pics later.

started on the right side, tried it dry...don't do this!!!

got way too many bubbles and they don't work out very easily, not happy with my decision to try it that way!! damn.

the left side i did slightly misted as matt suggested, went much, much better!!!!

i may want to replace the right side, i will wait to see if they work themselves out or not, not very hopeful though!

thanks matt, wonderful product!

hey matt, just got the graphix in yesterday and put them on today here are some pics, easier to see in person and the sunlight, but adds a nice ghost look over my black frame
