Firebolt Tail on Lighting

Hello,

I have a 2004 XB12S in red and an thinking of putting a firebolt tail section on it. Is anybody here looking of doing the opposite and we can trade tail sections? Please let me know if you have a firebolt tail section and want a lightning tail section.

i am and i have it in red
04 xb12r and would love to put a lightning tail section on my firebolt but i thinkits more than taking one piece off and replacing it with another
the electronics are under the seat of a lightning and in the front under the fairing of a firebolt so how could it be done right

It is possible, but a lot of work. Its more than just a simple R&R procedure. Somebody on here has done one, hit them up. I would have to sit down take both books side by side and go through the differences and go from there.

XBhooligan,

I will be willing to trade you for you tail. I believe I would give you my rear subframe, seat, tail light assembly (if different), and seat lock. I would need the firebolt subframe, seats, tail light assebly (if different), and your seat lock. Can anyone confirm this parts list?

Also, my cheese grater fender extension was chopped by the previous owner. It looks good and no one knows the difference unless I tell them. I will send you a pic if you would like.
